How to Choose the Right Version

Note Before You Order Both versions include the same replacement dashboard. The only difference is that V2 also includes an additional control switch required for scooters manufactured after August 2025.

If your S5/PRO electric scooter was purchased after August 2025, your scooter may have been updated to a newer model variant that requires an additional control switch to function correctly — please select V2.

If purchased before August 2025, the standard dashboard replacement is all you need — please select V1.

Compatibility Note for Newer S5 ABE Batches

Recent production batches of the JOYOR S5 ABE use an updated motor controller with banana-plug terminals, while earlier batches used bullet-plug terminals. Our derestriction kit is compatible with both versions.

If your scooter is from a newer batch, please refer to the illustrated guide below to connect the kit to the new controller. The procedure is straightforward and requires no additional parts.
