Button Operation and P-Code Reference
The JOYOR T6 and T10 use the same display settings covered in this guide. You can use the display controls to adjust important riding settings, including units, start mode, start torque, motor power and cruise control.
Use the reference chart below to understand the button operations and available P-codes for both models.
How to Adjust the Settings

Stop the scooter in a safe location.

Long press the M button to enter the P-setting menu.

Use the + or − button to select a P-code or adjust its value.

Press the M button to confirm the selected value.

Long press the M button to save your changes and exit the settings menu.
Do not change the display settings while riding.
Important Start and Speed Settings
P09 Start Mode
0 = Zero start
1 = Kick start
Default = 1
Zero start allows the throttle to respond while the scooter is stationary. Use this setting carefully to reduce the risk of accidental acceleration.
P10 Speed Limit
0 = Electronic speed limit off
Disabling the electronic speed limit may make the scooter unsuitable for public-road use in some locations. Only use this setting where it is legally permitted and safe to do so.
Settings to Keep at Default
For accurate speed and distance readings, keep the following values unchanged unless instructed otherwise by JOYOR support:
P06 Wheel size = 10.0
P07 Motor magnets = 30
Changing these values may affect the accuracy of the speed and distance information shown on the display.
Use P99 only when a factory reset is necessary. A factory reset may remove your customized display settings.
Additional P-Code Settings
P02 Units
0 = km/h
1 = mph
Default = 0
Use this setting to select your preferred speed and distance unit.
P04 Auto Sleep
0 = Off
1–60 = Automatic sleep time in minutes
Default = 10
This setting controls how long the display remains active when the scooter is not being used.
P12 Start Torque
0 = Weakest
5 = Strongest
Default = 5
A higher value provides a stronger initial response. Test any adjustment in a safe, open area before normal riding.
P15 Motor Power
Maximum = 100%
Default = 100
Reducing this value limits the available motor power and may result in gentler acceleration.
P16 Cruise Control
0 = Off
1 = On
Default = 0
Cruise control maintains the riding speed after the activation conditions are met. Make sure you understand how to cancel cruise control before enabling this function.
Recommended Settings
P09 = 0
P10 = 0
These settings enable zero start and disable the electronic speed limit. Use them only where legally permitted and when it is safe to do so.
Ride Safely
Display settings can change how the JOYOR T6 or T10 responds during acceleration and riding. After changing a setting, test the scooter at a low speed in a safe, open area.
Always wear appropriate protective equipment and follow the electric-scooter laws and regulations in your location.
