Ordering the right replacement display or controller for your Joyor scooter starts with one important step: confirming which version your scooter uses. Joyor produces scooters in multiple production batches, and hardware components can vary between them — even within the same model. Installing an incompatible version can result in error codes, reduced functionality, or the component not working at all.
Display Look at the back of your display unit. There will be a code printed or etched on the housing. Check the first two letters:
- ZP — Zhipu display
- JP — Jipin display

Please include this in your order notes when purchasing a replacement display (e.g. "Display: ZP" or "Display: JP").
Controller Most current Joyor models use a banana plug connector. Older models used a bullet connector. If you're not sure which connector you're using, check out the version comparison photos below. Please mention the connector type in your order notes if you know it.
