JOYOR Limited Warranty and Replacement Procedure and Liability Policy

Your purchase includes the following warranty:
Warranty will be automatically registered when the initial purchaser orders in the online store. Warranty is only applicable to the initial purchaser. Warranty will start when the initial owner receives the product. Order number is required when applying for after-sales service. JOYOR provides up to 2 years warranty, please refer to warranty details below for more details.

NOTICE: modified scooters and batteries will not be covered by the warranty.

JOYOR Scooter Warranty Details

All JOYOR scooters come with a full warranty against all manufacturing defects, and the original owner can enjoy this full warranty.

Replacement Procedure:

JOYOR will replace any component deemed defective or damaged (including damage caused during shipping, excluding user error).

1. Claims
All claims for this warranty must be made through JOYOR. and submitted to email. Any warranty request requires proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product. Before making a warranty claim, we recommend that you contact us via email as your issue may be easily resolved. Valid warranty claims will be processed through JOYOR within 2 years of initial purchase.

NOTE: JOYOR will not replace any parts without viewing photos or videos of the damaged product first. Customers need to provide us with evidence via email.

2. SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS

In rare instances, the item received may be damaged during transportation. If shipping damage occurs, please contact the email and provide us with photo or video proof.

NOTE: The specific warranty for JOYOR scooters purchased from a JOYOR retailer is governed by the laws of the state or country of purchase and applies only to scooters purchased from an authorized JOYOR retailer or directly from a JOYOR dealer.

3.Limited Warranty Terms:
This Limited Warranty does not imply or suggest that the scooter will not break or will last forever. It simply means that the scooter is subject to the terms of the Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty is void if the scooter has been subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, accident or other abnormal, excessive or improper use.

Damage caused by normal wear and tear, including damage caused by fatigue, is not covered under the warranty. Fatigue damage is a symptom of the frame wearing out during normal use. This is normal wear and tear and it is the owner's responsibility to inspect their scooter. Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance or the installation of parts and accessories that are not compatible with the JOYOR scooter is not covered under the warranty.

All labor costs for warranty service are the responsibility of the owner of the scooter. If shipping is required to process a warranty claim, any such shipping costs are the responsibility of the owner of the scooter. During this Limited Warranty Period, JOYOR will repair any defective frame or component or, at our option, replace any defective frame or component with the same or closest model or component available at the time.

THIS IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. ANY OTHER POSSIBLE REMEDY AND DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY JOYOR MAKES WITH RESPECT TO ITS FRAME AND COMPONENTS, AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OUTSIDE THE SCOPE STATED HEREIN. ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPLIED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXCLUDED.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES CONSUMERS SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. CONSUMERS MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. SOME STATES AND COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IF A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION DETERMINES THAT A PROVISION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE, SUCH DETERMINATION SHALL NOT AFFECT ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, AND ALL OTHER PROVISIONS SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT.

4.ELECTRIC SCOOTER SPECIFIC WARRANTY TERMS
This warranty applies to any basic electric scooter component found to be defective, provided that Corrosion of electrical components is not covered under warranty. You should wipe the contacts on the battery and other electrical components dry to prevent corrosion and oxidation. If needed, you can use an electrical contact cleaner to keep the connections clean. In extreme weather (for example, in communities that salt the roads in the winter), you can apply battery terminal grease as a preventative measure.、

5.How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe there is a warranty issue with your JOYOR, your first point of contact should be the JOYOR online store where you purchased the scooter. If you purchased directly from the JOYOR online store, please contact our customer service team for instructions on how to proceed: support@joyorprime.com

Please provide the order number and the serial number of the scooter as after-sales information.

6.FAQ about our warranty
I am not the original owner and bought a used JOYOR scooter. Is my electric scooter covered under warranty?

Yes, you can enjoy the warranty only if the following two conditions are met:
1. The two-year warranty period has not expired since the original owner received the scooter
2. You have the original owner's name and the original order number.

My scooter was in a collision and damaged. Can I enjoy the warranty?

Sorry, collisions or accidents are not covered by the warranty policy. The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by collisions.
